EXPERIENCED / SEMI-SKILLED LANDSCAPER
£150–£180 per day | Self-employed | Full-time
Align Landscapes is looking for a reliable, experienced or semi-skilled landscaper to join our growing team.
We carry out premium garden transformations within a 20 mile radius of Crawley. Our projects include porcelain and natural-stone paving, fencing, drainage, raised planters, turfing and complete garden renovations.
We are looking for someone with practical hard-landscaping or relevant construction experience who can complete tasks efficiently without constant supervision.
Relevant experience includes:
- Ground preparation and setting levels Installing and compacting sub-bases Mixing mortar and preparing paving beds Laying or assisting with porcelain and natural-stone paving Measuring and cutting accurately Installing drainage and ACO channels Fencing and timberwork Blockwork and raised planters Preparing and laying turf Confidently using standard landscaping tools and machinery
You do not need to be highly skilled in every area, but you must understand how a professional landscaping site operates, follow instructions accurately and maintain a good standard of work.
The right person will:
- Be reliable and punctual Work hard and maintain a sensible pace Take pride in producing high-quality work Follow plans, levels, measurements and instructions Keep sites clean, safe and organised Communicate professionally with the team and customers Look after company tools, machinery and vehicles Be willing to learn and develop their skills
A full UK driving licence and your own reliable transport are essential. You must be able to get yourself to our yard or the agreed meeting point each day. Please do not apply if you are unable to get yourself to work reliably.
Working hours are generally 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The team usually meets at our yard at approximately 7:00am.
Pay: £150–£180 per day, depending on your experience, practical ability and the level of supervision required.
This is a self-employed position. You will be responsible for paying your own Income Tax and National Insurance contributions.
Long-term, consistent work is available, with genuine opportunities to develop into a fully skilled landscaper and progress within the company.
