WM College is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Sound and Audio Production Tutor to join our Creative Digital Media team and deliver accredited courses in Sound and Audio Production using the NCFE Level 1 Award and Level 2 Certificate in Music Technology.

- Teaching and Learning: Deliver engaging and effective teaching across the accredited Level 1 and Level 2 Sound and Audio Production courses.
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver lessons that cover key areas of sound and audio production, including recording techniques, sound design, editing, mixing, mastering and production workflows.
- Assessment and Verification: Assess learner work in line with NCFE requirements, providing timely and constructive feedback to support achievement and progression.
- Learner Support: Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that enables learners of varying backgrounds and abilities to succeed.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning materials and programme delivery to ensure relevance to current industry practice.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in sound and audio production using industry-standard software such as Logic Pro X, Reaper, Adobe Audition, or equivalent digital audio workstations.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of contemporary audio production practices and applications within film, podcasting, gaming, music, and digital media.
- Teaching Experience: Experience teaching sound and audio production, preferably within Further Education, Adult Education, or community learning settings.
- Assessment Experience: Experience of assessing vocational qualifications is desirable; familiarity with NCFE qualifications would be advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and engage learners effectively.
