Salary: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

We are a warm, friendly and well-established Nursing Care Home providing high-quality person-centred care for older adults. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and motivated Head of Care/Senior Carer to join our dedicated team and help deliver outstanding care to our residents.
About the Role
As Head of Care/Senior Carer, you will lead by example, ensuring residents receive the highest standards of care while maintaining their dignity, independence and wellbeing.
You will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, supervise care staff and ensure all care is delivered in accordance with individual care plans and current best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the care team during each shift.
- Deliver high-quality person-centred care.
- Assist residents with personal care including washing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
- Administer medication safely in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and report concerns promptly.
- Ensure accurate care records are completed.
- Support and mentor junior care staff.
- Promote residents' independence, dignity and choice.
- Encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities and social engagement.
- Communicate effectively with families, healthcare professionals and colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention, safeguarding and health & safety.
- Support the home in meeting CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience working within an adult residential care home.
- Experience in a Senior Carer or Team Leader role.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential).
- Medication administration experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
- Flexibility to work weekends and shifts.
A Level 5 qualification in Leadership for Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential.

Additional Information
