Van Driver/Stores Operative - Redditch

Hours
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
The role of Van Driver/Stores Operative:
- Drive both a larger commercial vehicle and a standard van depending on delivery requirements
- Carry out local deliveries and collections within the Redditch area, with most journeys being short distance
- Complete occasional medium-distance trips (typically around a 3-hour round trip)
- Secure loads safely using ratchet straps
- Transport products between sites, suppliers, and customers
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any faults
- Load and unload deliveries and collections safely
- Carry out daily forklift checks and report any defects
- Pack finished goods onto pallets to prevent damage in transit
- Kit components ready for assembly
- Book in goods accurately within the stores system
The ideal Van Driver/Stores Operative:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Previous van driving experience
- Good attention to detail and a flexible, proactive approach
This is a temporary to permanent role based in Redditch, combining driving responsibilities with warehouse and stores duties.
