Ashling Park Estate is a 50 acre estate with field to fork dining with a wine focus, five luxury lodges, guest experiences and café. We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our growing wine tourism business. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate and friendly, with a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry while working in a dynamic setting. This role will be flexible to the needs of the business and may result in irreular hours in quieter periods
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout service
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Support barista duties, including preparing specialised coffee drinks when needed
- Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Pay: £12.71 per hour
