At No.Twenty9 Bar & Restaurant, we’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen WORKING IN OUR STATE IF THE ART AIR-CONDITIONED POT WASH AREA. Located in the heart of the beautiful village of Burnham Market, NoTwenty9 is a well-established restaurant, bar and boutique rooms, recognised by the Sunday Times as one of the UK’s top places to stay. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food and service, and our kitchen team is at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll work alongside our chefs to ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and fully prepared for service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
Keeping all kitchen and back-of-house areas clean and hygienic.
Assisting with deliveries and storing stock correctly.
Emptying bins and maintaining waste disposal areas.
Sweeping and mopping floors throughout the day.
Supporting the chefs with basic food preparation when required.
Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.
Enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Can remain organised and calm during busy service periods.
Previous kitchen porter experience is welcomed but not essential—full training will be provided.
