Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Furniture Upholsterer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for the upholstery of our bases and designer headboards through skilled upholstery work. Your expertise will help transform raw materials into beautifully finished products that meet our quality standards. Duties
- Measure, cut, and prepare fabric, foam, and other upholstery materials
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and upholster bases and headboards
- Possibility of operating sewing machines to attach fabric coverings securely and accurately
- Perform heavy lifting of furniture parts and materials safely and efficiently
- Fabricate custom upholstery pieces according to design specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse
Skills
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in upholstery work
- Experience with hand and power tools including drills, sewing machines, and staple guns
- Skilled in upholstery techniques for fabric attachment and finishing touches
- Knowledge of fabrication processes related to furniture upholstery
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and assembly
- Competence in furniture assembly and detailed craftsmanship
Previous experience in a factory and in the use of air tools will be useful, but enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to the team are more important as on-site training will be provided.
Schedules Available
- Full Time – 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
- Part Time – Can be discussed with candidates.

Salary
£10.85 (ages 18 to 20)
£12.71 (Age 21 and over)
