Job description
The successful applicant will join a team of seasoned industry professionals with ongoing contracts to supply engineering solutions on some of the most technically challenging and exciting projects in the UK.
Day to day tasks,
- Supporting engineering project delivery for our Clients.
- Mentor junior engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Working as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver design, analysis, and implementation projects in line with nuclear safety and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, scope alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Ensure compliance with UK nuclear regulations, CDM 2015 and ALARP principles.
- Prepare and review technical documentation including design substantiation reports, safety case inputs, and engineering change proposals.
- Support business development through proposal writing, client presentations, and identifying new opportunities.

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in a mechanical engineering (or similar).
APMP or Prince 2 experience would be desirable.
At least 3 years of using Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks creating 2D drawings to BS 8888
Familiar with engineering documentation, e.g. Designers risk assessments, requirements management, calculations etc
Demonstratable experience and understanding of UK legislation, e.g. CDM regulations.
5 years post qualification experience in a professional organisation is essential.
Recent experience of site construction or heavy manufacturing works is desirable.

Pay: £49,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
