We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Account Manager to join our Customer Service team. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with customers, Business Development Managers and internal teams to ensure demonstration and ergonomic orders are processed accurately and delivered seamlessly. About the Role
You'll play a key role in managing demonstration stock and ergonomic orders from initial enquiry through to delivery, ensuring outstanding service at every stage. Along with:
- Process demonstration stock and ergonomic orders accurately, ensuring specifications are correct and customer requirements are fully understood
- Liaise with Business Development Managers, customers and internal stakeholders to coordinate orders, deliveries, collections and installations
- Manage order amendments, ensuring all changes are communicated effectively and processed in a timely manner
- Support showroom, marketing, product development and sales teams with demonstration stock, events, training and testing requirements
- Raise purchase orders for third-party products associated with ergonomic orders and maintain accurate records and stock lists
- Coordinate delivery schedules and bookings, working closely with Production, Despatch and Installation teams to meet customer expectations
- Provide quotations, process seating assessments and maintain relevant ergonomic databases and records
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to enquiries regarding products, lead times, pricing, assessments and order status
- Support project delivery by monitoring order progress, ensuring approvals are in place and coordinating phased deliveries where required
About You
You'll have experience in a customer service, account management or order processing role and be confident managing multiple priorities. Along with:
- Previous experience processing customer orders and coordinating deliveries within a busy commercial environment
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Experience managing order amendments and resolving customer queries in a professional and timely manner
- Confidence using business systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering an outstanding service experience
