Maintain stock control of goods, liaise with other departments to the movement of goods and repair items, ensure accurate stock records are kept, and share administrative tasks with the team..
Responsibilities
- Processing customer and supplier orders accurately and efficiently
- Arranging and booking transport for domestic and international shipments.
- Coordinating export documentation and ensuring compliance with export requirements.
- Scanning, filing, and maintaining electronic and paper records.
- Data entry and maintaining accurate information within company systems.
- Liaising with internal departments, customers, freight providers, and suppliers.
- Preparing and checking shipping and customs documentation.
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties.
- Managing emails, correspondence, and document control activities.
- Maintaining inventory levels and conduct stock checks.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Good basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Previous administration experience preferred.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with exports, logistics, or transport booking would be advantageous but is not essential.
- The right candidate must be computer literate and will have an understanding of stock control systems.
- Meticulous attention for detail.
- Proven organisational skills.
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
