DGCS is expanding its Mobile Response Team, and we’re looking for professional SIA-licensed officers who want a more active and rewarding security career.
This is a genuine mobile operational role — not a gatehouse position. You’ll be out on patrol, responding to alarms, securing properties, conducting inspections, and supporting clients across a wide range of locations.

What Makes This Different?

- Responding to a live alarm activation
- Conducting high-visibility patrols in town centres

- Carrying out vacant property inspections
- Completing fire alarm and emergency lighting checks

Your Main Duties
- Alarm response and emergency call-outs
- Mobile and foot patrols across client sites
- Locking and unlocking buildings
- High-visibility deterrent patrols
- Vacant property inspections
- Mandatory fire alarm testing and emergency lighting checks
- Incident reporting and evidence recording
- Dynamic risk assessments
- Liaison with our 24/7 Control Room
Accuracy is critical. Our officers are trusted to produce clear reports, identify risks, and represent DGCS professionally at all times.
What We Need From You
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Confident driving ability
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
Desirable
- Mobile patrol or keyholding experience
- Alarm response experience
- Previous private security experience
- Lone-working experience
