Overview
***BRAND NEW OPENING*** We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Pizza Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and a keen interest in developing their culinary skills within a professional kitchen environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in food production, kitchen operations, and team management, all while working in a vibrant hospitality setting. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizza, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and contributing to the smooth running of the kitchen.
Duties
- Leading and developing the kitchen team
- Assist in food preparation and cooking
- Managing prep, ordering and stock control
- Support the organisation and management of food production processes
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene within the kitchens
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and stored correctly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff where applicable
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently during daily operations
- Participate in menu planning and development activities as required
Experience
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen
- Understands dough fermentation and high volume pizza service
- Familiarity with food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Experience in supervising or managing team members within a culinary setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a restaurant or hotel environment
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
