Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Garden & Property Maintenance Labourer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and weeding to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
- Operate power tools including lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and other gardening equipment safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and spades for various gardening and construction tasks
- Assist with construction and installation projects such as fencing, decking, or garden beds as needed
- Conduct basic mechanical maintenance on equipment like excavators or irrigation systems to ensure optimal operation
- Support irrigation system installation, repairs, and adjustments to maintain proper watering schedules
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, leaves, and waste to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality
Requirements
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly preferred
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques
- Mechanical knowledge related to garden machinery or construction equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures for outdoor work
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or similar construction equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance tasks
