About us
Outbound Digital is a Warrington-based performance marketing agency. We specialise in Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising for the automotive world; used car dealerships and car finance brokers up and down the UK.
We're a small, hands-on team that gets real, measurable results for our clients: leads, approvals and sales.
We're growing, and we're looking for a Social Media Marketing Assistant to join us and support the team across everything we do day-to-day.
The role
This is a varied, hands-on role that sits right in the middle of the action. You'll be helping us keep our clients' organic presence sharp, turning campaign data into clear reports, and lending a hand as we bring ad creative to life. No two days are quite the same, and you'll learn a huge amount about paid social, content, and how a modern marketing agency actually works.
You'll be supported by the wider team, so you're never on your own; but we'll also give you real ownership from early on.
What you'll be doing
- Organic social content — creating, scheduling, and managing organic posts across our clients' Facebook and Instagram pages, keeping each brand's tone consistent and their feeds active.
- Reporting — pulling together weekly and monthly performance reports for clients, presenting the numbers clearly and spotting the story behind them.
- Creative support — helping implement creative for client Meta ad campaigns, from prepping assets and copy to getting things live in Ads Manager.
- Keeping things moving — supporting the team with content calendars, client requests, and the general day-to-day that keeps an agency running smoothly.
- Learning and growing — getting stuck into new tools, platforms, and skills as you go, and taking on more responsibility as you find your feet.
What we're looking for
We care far more about attitude than a long CV. If you're organised, curious, and genuinely keen to learn this industry, we want to hear from you; even if you don't tick every box below.
- A real interest in marketing, social media, and advertising
- Strong written English and an eye for detail
- Well organised and reliable
- Comfortable with everyday tech and happy to learn new tools quickly
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get involved
- Confident communicating with the team and, over time, with clients
Nice to have (but not essential)
- Any experience with Facebook/Instagram, whether personal, freelance, or in a previous role
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools
- Some exposure to Meta Ads Manager, reporting, or content scheduling tools
- An interest in cars, automotive, or the finance sector

The details
- Location: Warrington office 2 days a week - WFH 3 days a week
- Hours: Full-time 9-5 Monday - Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
- Salary: £23,500-£24,500
