Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs accurately
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Reassemble vehicles or machinery following repairs, ensuring all parts meet safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing client concerns effectively
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on various vehicles
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and equipment repair techniques
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
- Prior experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Pay: £500.00-£900.00 per week
