Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Holiday Cottage Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that holiday cottages are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, providing guests with a welcoming and comfortable environment. Duties
- Clean and prepare holiday cottages between guest stays, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish toiletries as required
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised according to company standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Manage cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low
- Adhere to scheduling deadlines to ensure cottages are ready for new guests promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality cleaning roles is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of janitorial practices and cleaning techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift light loads
- Reliable with a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends if required
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness
