We are seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist/Front of House for our NEW PADEL BUSINESS . This role is vital in creating a positive first impression for guests and visitors, ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing guest interactions, handling enquiries, and providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel reception is preferred, but a friendly attitude and excellent organisational skills are essential. Responsibilities
- Greet guests and visitors warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Handle phone calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
- Provide information about services, facilities,
- Maintain the front desk area in a tidy and organised manner
- Assist with booking reservations and managing appointment schedules
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns, escalating issues when necessary
- Support with bookings and enquiries
- sales of drinks and padel balls
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel operations or previous experience in guest services is advantageous
- Proficiency in using reservation systems and basic computer applications
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle difficult situations tactfully
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all guest interactions and administrative tasks
Pay: £12.70 per hour
