PS LTD is looking for reliable and safety-focused Yard Operatives / Drivers to join our team in Thurleigh, MK44 - Bedford
If you're an experienced driver who enjoys a hands-on role, working outdoors and being part of a busy team, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Pay & Shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 6.30am - 3.30pm- £12.91 per hour
- Monday to Friday: 7.30am - 4pm- £12.91 per hour
What You'll Be Doing:
- Moving and handling vehicles safely around the site
- Using HHD scanners to scan, locate and direct vehicle movements – full training provided
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Parking vehicles correctly in line with customer requirements
- Checking vehicles for damage before moving them and reporting any damage found
- Following all site safety procedures and speed limits
- Maintaining a high standard of safe driving at all times
- Working closely with the wider yard team to keep operations running smoothly
- Carrying out other yard duties as required by the management team
What We're Looking For:
- A full, valid UK driving licence
- Maximum 6 points on your licence (0 points preferred)
- Experience in a similar driving/yard role – 2 years preferred
- Confidence driving both manual and automatic vehicles
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A strong focus on safety and attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm and work effectively in a busy environment
