We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Galloway Activity Centre’s Waterfront Café for the busy summer season.
Our kitchen serves a mixture of large school groups, families and visitors, so the role suits someone who enjoys working in a busy, friendly environment.
Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
Duties include:
- Assisting with meal preparation and simple baking
- Serving customers in the café
- Operating the till and handling payments
- Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean
- Supporting the team during busy service periods
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
The role:
- Average 5 days per week
- Includes weekends and some early evening shifts
- Most shifts finish by around 5pm during the summer
