- Attending minor and major accident scenes
- Recovering vehicles involved in crime (police contract work)
- Using your initiative to resolve challenging roadside situations
- Maintaining quality, professionalism, and Health & Safety awareness at all times

- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence (essential)
- Valid Driver CPC card (essential)

- Full light recovery training if you're new to the role
- Competitive enhanced daily rate — with an additional uplift upon IVR certification
- IVR training completed within 3 months for those without current certification
- HIAB training — progression opportunity available with us
- 4 on / 2 off shift pattern — days or nights
- 90% local work across Essex and Kent
- Self-employed status with guaranteed work — this is NOT a zero hours arrangement
- Work alongside a company with 30+ years' experience and blue-light service contracts
About You
You're calm under pressure, professional at all times, and comfortable working independently in the field. Recovery work takes you into difficult situations — accidents, crime scenes, breakdowns in all weathers — and you need to represent D&G Assist to the high standard our clients, including the police and emergency services, rightly expect.
If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you
