Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. Duties
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary before plastering.
- Mixing plaster to the correct consistency using hand tools or power mixers.
- Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with trowels and hawks, ensuring smooth and even finishes.
- Utilising various tools such as hand tools, power tools, and specialised masonry equipment to complete work efficiently.
- Repairing or restoring existing plasterwork, including patching holes or cracks.
- Collaborating with electricians, and joiners. other tradespeople to ensure seamless results and time frames being met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plastering.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in finishing work.
- Good physical fitness to handle lifting, standing for extended periods.
