Shift: Mon-Fri (8.00am – 4.30pm)
Parts Supervisor - About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Parts Supervisor to join our busy Service Team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong parts department experience who enjoys problem-solving, organisation, and supporting engineers and workshop staff.
You will be responsible for managing parts stock, sourcing and ordering components, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the parts function.
Parts Supervisor - Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Van stock replenishment
- Issuing parts to the workshop and field engineers
- Handling incoming parts requests and enquiry calls
- Processing parts returns to the Parts Department
- Stocktaking and inventory control
- General housekeeping of the parts area
- Identification of parts
- Ordering and sourcing parts
- Assisting with quotations
- Problem-solving (e.g. incorrect parts supplied)
- Checking parts booked on job sheets and ensuring stock is promptly replenished
- Assisting with parts filing
- General administration support for the Service Team
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties within the scope of your skills and experience
Parts Supervisor - Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience and strong knowledge of a parts department
- Excellent PC and system skills
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Methodical, organised, and detail-focused approach
