At White Ribbon NI, we work with young people across Northern Ireland, in schools,communities, sports organisations and the justice system, supporting them to challenge harmful attitudes and play a role in ending violence against women and girls.
We’re looking for a Listen, Learn, Lead Youth Programme Practitioner who can match the impact and energy of our team.
This is not a passive delivery role. It’s about presence, judgement, and the ability to build trust quickly. You need to be able to hold a room, navigate challenge, and create conversations that are honest, respectful and meaningful.
You might already be doing this in a different setting, through youth work, coaching, education or community work. If so, we can support you to develop your skills further within our programmes and contribute to a safer Northern Ireland.
About the Role: Deliver our Listen, Learn, Lead programmes to diverse youth groups, schools, and sports teams,empowering young people to speak out against violence towards women and girls. You’ll engage with young people in challenging environments, including those outside mainstream education and within the justice system.

Requirements - Essential: 6 months+ experience working with young people in group settings.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with evidence of positive collaboration.
Able to meet travel requirements across Northern Ireland using either private transport(full driving license and access to a vehicle) or public transport.
Working knowledge of safeguarding children and young people.
Comfortable within the workshop material – comfortable to discuss relationships, consent and related topics.
Knowledge of MicrcoSoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams).
Desirable
Experience engaging young men and boys in positive, strengths-based work.
GCSE English and Maths (Grade A-C) or equivalent.
