CNC Turner (Setter/Operator)
Join a quality-focused machining team producing repeat, conforming components to tight specifications, supporting on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers.
You'll set and operate CNC turning machines (FANUC-controlled, Nakamura lathes), ensuring consistent quality and supporting stable, repeatable production. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement and, where needed, help define best practice for new or developing jobs.

Set and operate CNC turning machines to spec and agreed instructions

Measure/check parts to confirm conformance before first-off submission

Produce first-off batches for First Article approval

Support first production parts through FAIR and/or PPAP requirements

Help establish stable, repeatable production processes (methods, tooling, documentation)

Suggest continuous improvement ideas and implement approved changes

Communicate clearly with the team and relevant departments

Maintain excellent housekeeping and safe working practices at all times

Support other tasks where your skills are needed across the shop

Proven CNC turning experience (setter/operator level)

Strong quality mindset and ability to work to specifications and instructions

Comfortable working to realistic deadlines while maintaining standards

Time-served engineering apprenticeship

FANUC control experience

Experience working to control plans
-
5S / Lean manufacturing exposure

AS9100 knowledge/experience (advantageous)
