The Role
Job Vacancy for a Multi-skilled Machinery Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join our existing team. This is a field-based role where you’ll be responsible for surveying, installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing automatic corrugated box gluing equipment at customer premises. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by delivering high-quality technical support and minimising customer production downtime.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Travelling to customer locations in a Company vehicle to carry out maintenance and repairs, services on box gluing machines, which will require overnight stays.
- Diagnosing faults and delivering effective solutions/ repairs.
- Carrying out customer site surveys ahead of installation.
- Installing and commission and set up new box gluing machines.
- Providing excellent over the Phone and on-site customer support.
- Completing detailed service reports and maintenance documentation.
- Responding to breakdowns as and when required, UK wide.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with T&B and Customers regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a maintenance or service engineering role.
- Relevant engineering qualification (mechanical, electrical, or similar) or two years’ experience.
- Education, GCSE or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive salary (depending on experience)
- Day shift Monday-Friday, possible weekends when required. Work as required by the business.

- Ongoing training on box gluing machines, glue systems and new developments.
