We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Barber to join our team. As a Senior Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality barbering services to our clients while also mentoring and guiding Graduate Barbers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the art of barbering, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and other services with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide personalised consultations to clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in barbering and incorporate them into your work to provide your services.
- Mentor and train junior barbers, providing guidance on techniques, customer service, and professional development.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the barber shop including workstations, tools, and equipment.
- Manage appointment bookings, ensuring efficient scheduling and timely service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and customer service.
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the barber shop.
- Uphold company standards and policies at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Barber with a minimum of 2 years fully qualified.
- Extensive knowledge of barbering techniques, styles, and trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in grooming services.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior barbers.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
