Lead Our Warehouse Operation
Magnum Logistics is a growing transport, warehousing, and pallet network operator based at London Gateway. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operation, drive performance, maintain high service standards, and develop our warehouse team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who can combine strong leadership skills with operational excellence in a fast-paced logistics environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our warehouse operation, ensuring all freight is handled safely, efficiently, and in line with customer requirements and company standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all warehouse activities including inbound, outbound and pallet network freight
- Leading, motivating and developing warehouse staff
- Managing attendance, performance and discipline where required
- Planning labour requirements to meet operational demands
- Driving warehouse productivity and efficiency improvements
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance
- Managing loading and unloading operations
- Ensuring freight is handled accurately and damage-free
- Investigating and reducing warehouse discrepancies and claims
- Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth depot operations
- Maintaining stock accuracy and inventory control
- Conducting regular team briefings and performance reviews
- Supporting recruitment, training and employee development
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
Essential
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or Senior Warehouse Supervisor
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience within a logistics, transport or pallet network environment
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Good understanding of warehouse KPI management
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
Desirable
- FLT licences
- Knowledge of pallet network operations
- IOSH qualification
- Experience using warehouse management systems
- Transport and logistics industry experience
