Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a dedicated children home specializing in children and young adults. As the pivotal figure in ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and leadership, you will be responsible for managing staff, developing care plans, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for residents. Your expertise in assisted living, children home management. Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the children supported living accommodation, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
- Develop, review, and implement personalized care plans tailored to residents' individual needs.
- Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment with effective leadership and supervision experience.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and adherence to healthcare protocols.
- Monitor resident well-being closely, addressing any concerns promptly while promoting independence and dignity.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to care delivery, incident reports, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate staff training programs focused on children care and safeguarding practices.
Experience
- Proven experience working within assisted living or children home environments with a strong understanding of children supported living accommodation.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as Ofsted requirements for children care providers.
- Previously registered with Ofsted as registered manager
- Hands-on experience in developing and managing care plans that meet individual resident needs.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, staff, and external agencies.
