Job Overview
We are looking to enhance our team with an experienced individual to provide high quality person centred care, ensuring our lovely residents feel safe, respected, and well-supported every day.
Main Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support the development and implementation of person centred care plans tailored to individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Observe care planning needs for the residents and complete daily records
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Passion for elderly care
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly and compassionately with residents and colleagues
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and reliably
- Self-motivated and able to work off own initiative
- Experience working in a care environment, preferably a residential care home.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and patience when supporting vulnerable individuals
- Excellent team player
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Relevant Vocational Qualification (achieved or working towards), e.g. Level 2 Diploma in Care, or willingness to undertake
Working Hours
The role offers a set shift pattern, with alternate weekend working required. Job share will be considered.

Pay: £13.00-£14.10 per hour
