Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and a keen eye for detail, ensuring environments are hygienic, safe, and welcoming. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of communal spaces, including corridors, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Disinfect and sanitise high-touch areas regularly to promote hygiene and safety
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
