We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised support to clients, including children, in various settings such as homes, schools, or community centres
- Assist clients with daily activities and routines, fostering independence and self-confidence
- Implement mentoring programmes aimed at developing life skills and socialisation abilities
- Support educational activities by teaching new skills or reinforcing learning in collaboration with teachers or carers
- Encourage participation in social and recreational activities to promote well-being and community engagement
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and progress made, ensuring compliance with organisational policies
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to deliver consistent and effective support plans
Requirements
- Experience or interest in working with children or vulnerable individuals
- Skills in mentoring and teaching are highly desirable
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of each individual client
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare required
- Relevant qualifications or training in supporting roles (e.g., health & social care) are advantageous but not essential
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one prior to employment

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,089.96 per year
