Job Overview
We are looking for a well- organised, professional, and practical housekeeper to help maintain a countryside home on a part time, live in basis. This is not a full time job - around 12 hours per week - and suits someone who values a settled, long term arrangement combined with the security and comfort of a self- contained accommodation.
Duties
General housekeeping , cleaning, laundry, and keeping the home well maintained and organised.
Caring for one small dog when the owner is away (feeding, walks & general care)
Occasional turnover for an Airbnb let on the property( cleaning, restocking, linen changes)
General practical oversight of the home - noticing what needs doing and getting on with it.
Qualifications
- Proven experience running or maintaining a home to a high standard.
- Well organised with strong attention to detail.
- Practical, hands -on thinker who can work independently
- Comfortable with dogs
- Full clean UK driving licence and own car essential - the property is rural, though close to towns.
- Right to work in the UK
- Two verifiable references required
- Happy to undergo a baisc DBS check
