Freelance Reformer Pilates Instructor — Mornings, Evenings & Weekends
Peachi Pilates · Filton, Bristol · £40 per hour + commission
If you're freelance by choice, you already have a filter. Is the rate right? Is the room full? Is the studio worth the drive?
Here's our answer to all three — and a few things you probably weren't expecting from a freelance role.
The offer
£40 an hour. Invoiced monthly, paid on time.
Commission on top. Our best instructors deliver taster classes for potential new members and you earn £25-40 per new member (depending on membership level) for every new membership that comes from your taster class. Teach well, have an honest conversation with the person in front of you, and you're paid for it directly.
Mornings, Evenings and weekends. These are our busiest classes and our best atmosphere — the rooms are full, the energy is high, and the members have chosen to be there at the end of a long day. Let's chat about your availability and see how it fits with our member's priorities.
No exclusivity. Keep your other studios, your privates, your online work. We're not asking for your whole diary, and we won't make you feel awkward for having one.
The studio:
Peachi opened in Filton this January, so everything in it is new. Everything is gorgeous! A purpose-designed reformer studio, a separate circuits studio, and kit that's a pleasure to teach on rather than something you work around.
It's a space people want to be in, and it shows in the room. Members turn up, they stay, and they bring friends.
Unit 10, Shield Retail Centre, Filton — free parking on-site.
Why the classes are worth teaching:
We passed a hundred members faster than our own plan said we would. That wasn't a discount or a gimmick — it came from a properly designed client journey and a teaching standard we hold to.
What that means for you: you teach to a full room. Not two people and a lot of empty reformers. The members are engaged, they turn up, and they know what they're there for.
The support behind you:
The unpaid hours are what make freelance work pay less than it looks like it does. We've removed most of them.
- Programming is already written. A clear method and planned class structure — you're not planning on a Sunday night. What you add on top is your own personal touch.
- We fill the classes. Marketing, member acquisition and the booking system are ours. You're not being asked to bring your own clients or post about us to fill a slot.
- No admin. Member enquiries, bookings and follow-ups run through the studio, not your phone.
- A proper induction, not a key and a timetable. You'll know the method, the members and the kit before you teach your first class.
- Someone's always there. If a member turns up with a new injury, a machine plays up, or you want a second opinion, you're not solving it alone in an empty studio.
Room to get better:
Most freelance teaching is a flat line. You teach the class, you go home, and nobody ever watches you work. We want you to feel part of the team and we want to support you with your personal development and growth.
You'll get mentoring and genuine feedback from people who care how you teach, plus access to our ongoing training as we develop the Peachi Method.
We're also building new class formats — for beginners, over-50s, and back and posture clients. If that's the kind of work you want to be part of shaping, there's a seat at the table. Your ideas won't disappear into a suggestion box.
And the timetable is still growing, so if you want more hours later, they'll be there.
The team:
Freelance can be lonely. You arrive, you teach, you leave, and you never quite belong anywhere.
Here you'll be part of the studio, part of the Peachi family - the same faces every week, a team that knows your name and your clients' names, people who'll cover a class when life happens and expect you'd do the same. We train together, and we genuinely like each other.
You'll also get unlimited access to Peachi classes for your own practice.
