The Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead the business day to day. You will take full responsibility for operations, people, standards, and performance, working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of pub operations
- Lead, motivate, and develop the management and front-of-house teams
- Drive sales, GP, and overall financial performance
- Maintain high standards of service, food, and cleanliness
- Manage rotas, payroll, stock, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and food hygiene
- Build strong relationships with guests and the local community
About You
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy Manager in a gastro pub or similar venue
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Commercially minded with good financial understanding
- Passionate about hospitality and guest experience
- Hands-on, organised, and calm under pressure
