About the Role
Activ Sports UK is seeking a skilled and dependable Gym Equipment Installer to join our Manchester team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, testing, and maintaining fitness equipment while ensuring each installation meets quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install gym and fitness equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect equipment and components before installation.
- Perform testing and adjustments to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical or installation issues.
- Maintain tools and installation equipment.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Coordinate with customers, site teams, and other technicians as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with equipment installation, maintenance, or assembly is preferred.
- Good mechanical and practical skills.
- Ability to read installation instructions and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently.
