The Role
As Nursery Manager, you'll lead every aspect of the nursery, creating an inspiring environment where children flourish, staff feel valued, and families feel welcomed.
You'll:
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Deliver exceptional care and education in line with the EYFS.
- Ensure outstanding safeguarding and compliance.
- Build positive, lasting relationships with children, families and the local community.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across the nursery.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the setting, including staffing, occupancy, budgets and resources.
- Ensure the nursery is always welcoming, safe and inspection-ready.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or 6 desirable).
- Significant experience in an early years setting.
- Experience as a Deputy Manager, Nursery Manager or Senior Early Years Leader.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
- Outstanding leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, approachable and child-centred leadership style.
- A genuine passion for supporting children, families and developing others.
Hours
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday
- 37–40 hours per week
- All-year-round role
- Competitive salary dependent on experience
