Fosseway Garden Centre, a premier destination within the Group, is currently seeking a talented and disciplined Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The Role
Working under the direction of our Head Chef, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a designated section of the kitchen. You will play a vital role in maintaining the reputation of our restaurant, ensuring that every dish—from our classic breakfasts to our contemporary lunch menu—is prepared to an exacting standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Section Management: Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your specialty, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to strictly defined recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain brand standards.
- Food Safety: Ensure all HACCP and COSHH procedures are followed diligently within your station.
- Development: Assist the Sous Chef in training junior members of the brigade and contributing to daily specials.
Candidate Requirements
- Professional experience as a CDP or an experienced Commis Chef in a fresh-food environment.
- Relevant culinary qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) are preferred.
- A "can-do" attitude with the ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
