Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Care Assistant to support adult service users across Leicester. This role involves delivering high-quality personal and practical care in both home and community settings, helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and continence needs
- Support mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
- Accompany service users to appointments, social outings, and community activities
- Assist with shopping and other day-to-day errands
- Monitor and report any changes in health, behaviour, or wellbeing
- Offer companionship and emotional support to encourage independence
- Maintain accurate care records in line with company policies
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and confidentiality procedures
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience supporting adults in a care setting
- Ability to deliver personal care with dignity and respect
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and caring approach
- Legal right to work in the UK
Desirable Skills
- Care Certificate or relevant health and social care qualification
- First Aid or emergency response training
- Experience in domiciliary or community care

- This is a field-based role requiring travel between service users’ homes within Leicester
- Work is carried out in person
Pay: £34,420.00-£37,118.94 per year
