What You'll Be Doing
You'll support children and young people to feel safe, valued and confident by:
- Building positive, trusting relationships.
- Supporting daily routines, education, hobbies and community activities.
- Promoting independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
- Using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed approaches.
- Following care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
- Working closely with families, schools, social workers and other professionals.
- Completing accurate records that help deliver safe, high-quality care.
Essential
- A minimum of 6 months' paid UK experience supporting children or young people in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
