Are you looking for a hands-on role in a friendly, fast-paced environment?
I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a thriving distribution centre in Kempston looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join the team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch.
Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Operative your duties will include:
- Picking and packing
- Preparing orders for shipment in line with dispatch deadlines
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy and general warehouse duties
- Supporting other teams and departments when needed
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- A proactive and organised approach to work
- Good communication and numeracy skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physically fit – comfortable lifting cartons up to 15kg
- Previous warehouse experience is ideal
- Basic computer skills (Word & Excel) beneficial
