The Painted Kitchen Co is a new specialist kitchen painting business serving homes across South West London. We transform existing kitchens and fitted cabinetry with high-quality hand-painted finishes, providing customers with a cost-effective alternative to replacing their kitchen.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and highly skilled Painter & Decorator to work with us on upcoming kitchen and cabinetry projects.
This is not standard decorating work. We are looking for someone who takes real pride in preparation, attention to detail and achieving an exceptional finish.
The role will include:
- Preparing existing kitchen cabinets, doors, drawers and fitted furniture
- Cleaning, degreasing, sanding and filling surfaces
- Applying appropriate primers and undercoats
- Hand painting cabinetry to a high-quality finish
- Working with water-based and specialist furniture paints
- Protecting worktops, floors, appliances and customers' homes
- Removing and refitting doors, handles and hardware where required
- Maintaining a clean and professional working environment
- Representing The Painted Kitchen Co professionally in customers' homes
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has professional painting and decorating experience
- Ideally has experience painting kitchens, furniture, joinery or cabinetry
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can produce a consistently high-end finish
- Is clean, organised, punctual and reliable
- Is comfortable working independently in customers' homes
- Has their own tools and transport
- Is based in or able to travel throughout South West London
- Takes genuine pride in their work
We are particularly interested in finding someone we can build a long-term working relationship with. As The Painted Kitchen Co grows, there will be the opportunity for regular projects and ongoing work.
