Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent physical stamina, and the ability to perform a variety of manual tasks across different projects. This role offers an opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic working environment, contributing to the successful completion of diverse construction, maintenance, or industrial projects.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary tools and safety barriers
- Carry out general manual labour including lifting, and moving materials
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, or plumbers in their tasks
- Operate basic power tools
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure work environment
- Maintain cleanliness of the work site throughout the project duration
- Report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
- Light strip out work were required
Skills
- Proven physical strength and stamina for demanding manual tasks
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Prior experience in construction or industrial environments is advantageous but not essential
