A Night Care Assistant provides care and support to residents or clients during overnight shifts in care homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or private homes.
Typical job duties include:
- Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care.
- Helping residents move safely and repositioning those with limited mobility.
- Carrying out regular night-time welfare checks.
- Responding to call bells and emergencies promptly.
- Supporting residents with medication (if trained and authorized).
- Providing companionship and reassurance to residents who are awake or distressed.
- Recording care provided and reporting any health concerns to senior staff.
- Keeping the environment clean, safe, and secure throughout the night.
Pay: £2,100.00-£2,600.00 per month
