Embrace Education Ltd is an award-winning national publishing company, providing educational resources to schools and businesses across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a confident and organised Administrator to join our friendly and fast-paced team on a full-time basis.
This is a varied and proactive role that combines administration, customer service, and high-volume phone-based communication. It is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships, and working in a busy office environment.
About the Role
As an Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting both our customers and internal teams. The role involves regular communication with schools and businesses, ensuring records are accurate, payments are managed, and agreed services are correctly confirmed.
Key Responsibilities
- Making a high volume of outbound calls to schools and businesses across the UK
- Handling inbound enquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Contacting businesses to confirm details after agreements have been made with the sales team
- Managing and following up on outstanding payments from business accounts
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Liaising with school staff and business contacts to coordinate information and services
- General administrative duties including data entry, record keeping, and scheduling
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day tasks
- Working towards individual and team targets where required
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is confident on the phone, highly organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Essential skills and experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration, customer service, or collections
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise workload
- Good IT skills and experience using internal systems
- A proactive, positive, and professional approach
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Full-time, office-based role in Chester
