YOU MUST BE EXPERIENCED and detail-oriented Shisha Maker to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, premium shisha (hookah) to our guests, ensuring an enjoyable and memorable experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence and guest satisfaction.
Job Duties:
- Prepare & assemble premium shisha using top-quality tobacco, flavours, and equipment.
- Deliver consistent quality in every serve, focusing on flavour, smoke, and presentation.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
- Engage guests professionally, offering expert recommendations based on their unique preferences.
- Clean and maintain all shisha equipment to ensure strict hygiene and health code compliance.
- Monitor & manage coal changes attentively to optimise the guest's smoking experience.
- Contribute to premium shisha menu by introducing trending concepts and creative flavour pairings.
- Monitor stock levels of all flavours, charcoal and shisha accessories and assist with stock management.
- Keep preparation areas clean, organised, and presentable at a high standard at all times.
- Train junior team members on shisha preparation, maintenance, standard operating procedures and service excellence.
Experience/Skills:
- Strong background and proven experience as a shisha maker within a premium lounge, restaurant or luxury hospitality or food service environment.
- Must demonstrate complete proficiency and extensive knowledge in shisha preparation methods, flavour combinations, heat management, and equipment maintenance.
- Health & Safety: Strong understanding of hygiene, health, and safety standards relating to shisha preparation and service.
- Communication: Flawless interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with guests and provide premium service.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain premium standards and consistency under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
