MORNING WALKING CARE ASSISTANT – ESTOVER AREA

At Plymouth Care is recruiting a Walking Care Assistant for our Estover Morning Run.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being active, meeting people, and making a positive difference before most people have even started their day.
No previous care experience is required. If you are kind, reliable, and genuinely care about helping others, we can teach you everything else through our comprehensive induction and training programme.
Shift Pattern
- Morning shifts starting at 7:00am and finish at 3.00pm
- Part-time opportunities available
- Alternate weekend working may be required
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting clients in their own homes
- Assisting with medication
- Helping with shopping and daily tasks
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Promoting independence and dignity
- Providing personal care support
- Supporting with oral care
- Encouraging activities that promote wellbeing and brain stimulation
- Working alongside healthcare professionals and family members to support client needs
- Delivering person-centred care tailored to each individual's wishes and requirements
What We Offer
- £12.80 per hour weekdays
- £13.15 per hour weekends
- £15.80 per hour bank holidays
- Travel and waiting time paid at £12.71 per hour
- 45p per mile mileage allowance (where applicable)
- 28 days paid holiday per year (pro rata)
