Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager/Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service standards, supervising staff, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Supervise and support bar staff, including training and development
- Ensure all beverages are prepared to high standards, including cocktail mixing and the keeping of Real Ale
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory control
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health regulations
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality service and fostering a positive team environment
- Assist in organising special events or promotions to enhance customer engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising or managing within a restaurant, pub, or bar setting
- Experience in serving, hospitality management, and team leadership skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams effectively
- Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards
- A personable approach with strong communication skills suitable for a diverse clientele
- Helping to create, promote and help run events as well as pushing existing events to maximise foot fall and takings

Pay: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
