Responsibilities
- Picking orders ready for dispatch
- Loading and unloading trailers and containers and putting away goods
- Scanning goods in and out using a bar-code scanner system
- Labelling of goods
- Manual handling of goods
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the BRC approved warehouse
- Completion of daily vehicle checks
- Reporting all damage to goods or property to the supervisor
- Undertaking any other duties as reasonably requested by the manager or supervisor.
Training & experience
- Valid Counterbalance Truck Licence
- Minimum 1-2 years experience driving forklifts
- Reach and VNA truck licence desirable
- Previous experience of scanning
- Experience of working on loading docks and mobile ramps would be advantageous
