Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and managing staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage the kitchen team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to maintain a motivated workforce.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
- Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste and optimise costs.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer feedback related to food quality and service standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Proven supervising experience within a busy culinary environment.
- Extensive food production knowledge with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse kitchen staff.
