Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of refrigeration equipment to identify issues and perform necessary repairs promptly
- Interpret technical schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot system faults effectively
- Lead maintenance activities on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and related mechanical equipment
- Repair, replace, or upgrade components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems
- Oversee construction or installation projects involving new refrigeration infrastructure or upgrades
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules to ensure system reliability and longevity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and implement energy-saving solutions
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience guiding maintenance teams or contractors
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, including compressors, fans, valves, and electrical components
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems and their integration with refrigeration units
- Solid understanding of maintenance best practices within industrial or commercial settings
- Construction experience related to installing or upgrading refrigeration infrastructure
